I am running to continue serving Churchill County with experienced, steady leadership while strengthening the Sheriff’s Office for the future. Public safety requires experience, judgment, and a proven commitment to the community.
My top priorities are public safety, strong patrol response, a professionally operated jail, responsible use of technology, recruitment and retention, and maintaining public trust through accountability and service.
I have worked to advance updated dispatch technology, including RapidSOS and Live911. These tools will help dispatchers gather information faster, improve communication, provide translation options, and enable deputies to hear active 911 calls in their vehicles, allowing them to respond more quickly.
Technology should never replace good police work, but it can make deputies, dispatchers, and detention staff more effective. The right tools can improve response times, officer safety, evidence handling, communication, and service to the public.
